Janis Wood: My mediums are acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. For more than fifty years, I have been painting, exhibiting, and selling my works in numerous locales and venues all over the country. I use bold colors and impasto techniques, and often take impressionistic or abstract approaches when depicting portrait, landscape, and still life subjects. For inspiration, I usually add vibrant music, and a glass or two of vino for good measure! Since 2013, I have been a proud member, supporter, and Board Director of Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center.
