Myra Polsky
Asheville, Acrylic
Judge’s Comments: Myra Polsky’s acrylic painting "Ashville" provides an interesting impression that is emotionally haunting nuanced to Japanese Zen Monks landscape painting around the end of the Fourteenth Century. This type of painting was executed with quick brush strokes with a minimum of detail and said to have been painted after a moment of enlightenment. The surprise is in the title of the work.
