Coiling pine needles is a fun and creative way to make a unique basket from nature!
In this small workshop (limited to six students), Becky will teach you how to start a coil, attach it to a base, add needles and thread, shape the sides and finish the coil. Each student will make their own color and style choices and complete a small pine needle basket. Intermediate students will expand their skills by also learning how to embellish with beads, use different stitches, or add a handle.
Lunch Break: Please bring your own bagged lunch to this workshop - we have a refrigerator on premesis.
Supply fee - $10: Please pay this fee to Becky at the beginning of the workshop. It will cover all materials needed to complete a small pine needle basket, including choices of centers and thread.
