Judge’s Comments:  Mundy Hackett’s digital photography painted in photoshop "Tilt" is a shift from straight forward photography. This richly painted image embraces computer technology, greatly enhancing the original photographic image by creating artwork that resembles a batik painting. The tightly cropped tiger’s face is transfixed starring down the viewer, almost daring a closer approach.
